I work with individuals, couples, and families who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—whether in their relationships or in their lives.
Many couples come to therapy feeling caught in painful cycles of conflict or growing distance. Conversations can become frustrating or shut down altogether, leaving both partners feeling unheard or disconnected.
I help couples slow these patterns down so each person can feel understood and begin to see what’s happening between them more clearly. It’s common for one partner to feel more ready than the other, and part of my role is to create a space where both people can engage at a pace that feels manageable. I don’t take sides—instead, I help you understand the pattern you’re caught in and how to begin shifting it together.
In my work with individuals, we focus on understanding what’s getting in the way and finding a clearer, more grounded path forward—one that feels manageable and aligned with what matters most.
A brief conversation can help you get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit.
My approach to therapy is guided by your individual needs and goals. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, DBT skills, relational and psychodynamic work—and tailor the process to what will be most helpful for you.
I’ve also spent many years studying mindfulness and holistic health practices, and we can bring those into our work together if that feels useful to you. Attention to areas like sleep, stress, diet, exercise, and overall well-being can meaningfully support emotional health.
In my work with couples, I draw on approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Imago Relationship Therapy. I also bring over 30 years of experience in Transformative Mediation, helping couples improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and strengthen their connection.
At the core, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, find steadier footing in difficult moments, and move toward what matters most to you.
