I've spent over 35 years helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges, better understand themselves, and move toward more grounded, connected lives.
Much of my work—both past and present—has centered on relationships. Whether in relationships with partners, family members, or within yourself, many of the struggles people face come from patterns that may have once made sense but no longer work—often leaving you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unable to have the kind of relationships you want.
Early in my career, I worked as the Youth Counselor for the Town of Weston, MA, supporting adolescents and their parents in a school setting. I was drawn to this work because of how much was happening in those years—young people making sense of who they are while navigating complex emotional and relational challenges.
In the second half of my career, I worked closely with military service members and their families. This included four years with active-duty personnel at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, followed by eleven years counseling combat veterans and their families at the Vet Center in Keene, NH. I have deep respect for the experiences these individuals carry and the strength it takes to face them, and much of this work involved helping people reconnect—with themselves, with loved ones, and with a sense of direction.
Alongside my clinical work, I spent 15 years as a mediator with the U.S. Postal Service, helping employees and management work through conflict and rebuild working relationships. This experience continues to inform how I help couples slow down difficult interactions, understand each other more clearly, and begin shifting longstanding patterns.
Today, I work with both individuals and couples. With couples, we focus on understanding the patterns that lead to disconnection and creating space for more openness, clarity, and connection. With individuals, we often explore how past experiences and current stressors are shaping how you relate to yourself and others—and how to move forward in a way that feels more steady and aligned.
At the core, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded in difficult moments, and build more meaningful, workable connections in your life.
